What is It?
We are pleased to announce that Virginia International Raceway and TMI AutoTech, Inc. have partnered up to give you the VIR Driving Experience! The VIR Driving Experience is an opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of the world’s quickest supercars. This unforgettable experience allows you to take the controls of an Ariel Atom around the twists and turns of a challenging road race circuit, VIRginia International Raceway. The VIR Driving Experience provides everything you need to relax and enjoy your event.

Full-Day Level 2 Events
The Full-Day Level 2 events take place on the faster, 1.65 mile long South Course at VIR and feature more track time as well as increased pace! Each participant will go through an advanced classroom briefing focused on high performance drivings as well as 4 x 20 minute sessions behind the wheel of the Ariel Atom! The last two sessions of the Full-Day Level 2 event are without a pace car! Also, after each open session, you will receive one-on-one instructor debriefings. This advanced event is well suited for graduates of the Half-Day Level 1 event or for drivers with track experience.
Half-Day Level 1 Events
The Half-Day Level 1 events take place on the challenging, 1.1 mile long Patriot Course at VIR. Each participant will benefit from an intro classroom briefing on safety and high performance driving as well as 3 x 15 minute sessions at the controls of the Ariel Atom! This is an unforgettable experience for novice and experienced drivers alike. Each session can accommodate a maximum of 3 clients per car and is a half-day in length. Morning sessions run from 8am-12pm and the afternoon sessions run from 1pm-5pm.

Other than the fact that you will be driving one of the worlds quickest and most unique supercars you have the chance to drive on a racetrack in a safe and controlled environment where you can push the limits of the vehicle...and yourself.

Virginia International Raceway - Patriot Course
- This twisty, challenging, undulating, and very quick course layout is unbelievable well suited to the quick and nimble Ariel Atom.
Virginia International Raceway - South Course
- This fast 1.65 mile long course, is a great match for the Ariel Atom since its long straight gives you a chance to really stretch the Atom's legs as well as challenge yourself though some of the most tricky corners!

How Much does it cost?
Half-Day Level 1 - $495 per person
Full-Day Level 2 - $1,695 per person
What do you need to bring?
- Comfortable shoes that you can drive in - No flip-flops or open toe shoes.
We supply the rest including a driving suit, driving gloves, and safety helmet.
